I was once a TweetDecker, a Buffer Lover, a Hootsuite Hero. In fact, I’ve even toyed with Sprout Social and dipped a toe into the waters of Later. Nothing compares to Facebook Creator Studio. I’ve heard the arguments… “But I post the same content across all 3 platforms, so Hootsuite is the easiest.” Understandable. But is posting the same content across three different social networks, and posting the same copy to three different demographics the best Social Media strategy?
Facebook Creator Studio does everything you’d want a scheduling tool to do, and then some. Using Facebook features helps you reach your followers.
Here are 8 things you didn’t know about Facebook Creator Studio…
1. It’s free!
That’s right. No monthly subscriptions or costs-per-accounts. Facebook Creator Studio is part of your Facebook Business Manager at no cost. And now outside of Facebook Creator Studio, you can schedule directly into Twitter.com for free too, why even use a third-party scheduling tool?
2. Preview how your post will appear on mobile
Unless you work in marketing or own a business, you’re almost definitely not using Facebook on a desktop. Optimising websites, ads and posts for mobile is vital to good Digital Marketing.
3. Upload videos to post later
The content library! Upload as many videos as you want. Keep them as drafts and schedule or post them later. Facebook can even add auto-generated subtitles to your videos too!
4. The Get Messages Button
If you make most of your sales by talking to a customer or even take bookings for services using Facebook Messenger. Adding a ‘Get Messages’ button to your posts is a great way to increase contact. Can Hootsuite do that? I think not…
5. Post Facebook Stories from desktop
Sadly, you can’t post Instagram Stories from desktop yet – but you can post Facebook Stories from desktop using Facebook Creator Studio, so hopefully Instagram is right around the corner!
6. The inbox
Check your Facebook Messages, Instagram Inbox, Facebook Comments and Instagram Engagements all in one place! That’s right, just like Facebook Business Suite, Creator Studio puts all your inboxes and notifications in one place. Super handy!
7. You can schedule for Instagram too!
Just add your Instagram account, and switch between the platforms in the header
8. Upload videos to IGTV
Using Facebook Creator Studio, you can upload video to IGTV. Very useful if you don’t want to store a large video file on your mobile.
